Scale Blaster - Improving water flow efficiency

Scaling is a coating or precipitate deposited on surfaces that are in contact with hard water. When this hard water is heated or when evaporation takes place, calcium carbonate will form. Practically all equipment coming in contact with hard water will be affected by scale. This scale build up will clog up pipes, tubes; block jets and form a layer of mineral scale deposits in heat transfer surfaces. The result are billion-dollar problems for industry. Higher energy costs, serious maintenance problems and prolong damage to expensive capital equipment are all symptoms of scale build-up. Up until now, the only reliable solution is expensive chemical scale inhibiters, acid washes or water.

There are so many reasons to use a Scale Blaster - it eliminates limescale deposits from forming, removes existing scale in pipes, tubes, jets, and heat transfer, controls algae and bacteria, lowers energy consumption, reduces maintenance and downtime, extends the life of capitol equipment and its easy to install and operate.

The Scale Blaster is perfect for households or businesses and is a fantastic way to improve efficiency.

Storm Drain run-off protection for Grab N' Grow

Storm drain run-off is a constant issue, especially with businesses that have yards with rock, soil, and other compounds combined with tractors and equipment is a recipe for extremely high levels of environmental contamination.
Grab N' Grow, one of our clients, decided to take it upon themselves to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. US Hydrotech worked with them to make sure they were in compliance in regards to storm drain run-off and making sure nothing went down the storm drain, especially during a rainstorm. We accomplished this with technology from Ertec and creating a filtering and capture system that prevents virtually all contaminants from entering the storm drain. If more companies were so proactive as Grab N' Grow, our community would be and can be a healthier and more environmentally conscious society to live in where our children can count on a cleaner and greener tomorrow.
