Scaling is a coating or precipitate deposited on surfaces that are in contact with hard water. When this hard water is heated or when evaporation takes place, calcium carbonate will form. US Hydrotech worked with them to make sure they were in compliance in regards to storm drain run-off and making sure nothing went down the storm drain, especially during a rainstorm. We accomplished this with technology from Ertec and creating a filtering and capture system that prevents virtually all contaminants from entering the storm drain.
